Wedding photography

One day. Hundreds of little moments.
The hugs, the laughter, the quiet glances,
and everything in between.

True-to-life
Timeless editing
that won't go out of style
This isn't about creating perfect photographs.
It's about helping you enjoy one of the most meaningful days of your lives.
Years from now, your children won't notice whether your bouquet matched perfectly or whether the timeline ran five minutes behind.
They'll see your parents laughing.
Your grandparents wiping away tears.
The excitement on your faces as you walked back down the aisle together.
Those are the moments I watch for.
The beautiful portraits matter... but the memories matter even more.
Hey, I’m Andrew!
I've spent the last 15 years photographing weddings throughout British Columbia, and if there's one thing I've learned, it's this...
Every couple is different.
Some love being in front of the camera.
Others tell me they're awkward before we even meet.
Some weddings have twenty guests.
Others have hundreds.
No matter what your day looks like, my approach stays the same.
I'll quietly document the moments as they happen, gently guide you whenever you need it, and make sure you never feel like you're spending your wedding inside a photoshoot.
By the end of the day, my hope is that you remember how much fun you had... not how many photographs we took.
Here's how the experience unfolds.
Wedding collections
begin at $3,500
…With most couples investing between $4,500 and $6,000 for full-day wedding photography.
Collections can include:
• Wedding day coverage
• Second photographer options
• Engagement session
• Timeline planning
• Professionally edited photographs
• Online gallery
• Reveal session
• High-resolution downloads
• Printing rights
• Heirloom wedding album
One day these photographs won't just belong to you.
They'll become part of your family's history.
That's why every full wedding collection includes an heirloom album.
Long after phones, computers, and hard drives have been replaced, your album will still be sitting on a shelf waiting to be opened.
Those moments deserve more than a screen.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Most couples find that 8-10 hours of coverage captures the majority of their wedding day, from getting ready through many of the reception highlights. Every wedding is different, though, and I'd be happy to help you determine what makes the most sense for your plans.
-
A second photographer is highly recommended for larger weddings, weddings with 75+ guests, or when both partners are getting ready in different locations. It allows us to capture more perspectives, more candid moments, and helps ensure no important memories are missed. Plus, there’s a built-in backup!
-
Absolutely! I photograph weddings throughout Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, Vancouver Island, the Sea-to-Sky Corridor, and beyond. If you're planning a destination wedding or celebration elsewhere, I'd love to hear about it.
-
Definitely. One of my favourite parts of the planning process is helping couples create a timeline that allows for beautiful photos while giving you plenty of time to simply enjoy your wedding day. We'll work through it together well before the big day arrives. We can even meet a few weeks before your wedding to confirm things, and I’m happy to answer any questions along the way!
-
Living in British Columbia means we always have a backup plan! A little rain rarely affects the experience, and some of my favourite images have been made on rainy days. I'll help plan covered locations, bring clear umbrellas if needed, and make the most of whatever the weather brings.
-
Yes... but probably not in the way you're imagining. I'll gently guide you into flattering light and natural interactions, rather than stiff poses. Most couples tell me they were surprised by how relaxed and fun the experience felt.
-
Rather than promising a specific number, I deliver every meaningful image that meets my quality standards. Most couples receive anywhere from 500 to 900 edited photographs, depending on the length and pace of the wedding day.
-
You'll typically receive a collection of sneak peeks within 48 hours of your wedding. Your fully edited gallery is usually ready within about 8 weeks, and we'll celebrate it together during your reveal session.
-
Yes! Whether you're planning an intimate ceremony with just your closest family or a full-day celebration with hundreds of guests, I'd love to help tell your story. Smaller weddings often allow for an even more relaxed and personal photography experience. Get n touch and I’ll put together a custom quote for your more intimate celebration.
-
To reserve your wedding date, a $1,000 non-refundable retainer and signed agreement are required. The remaining balance is due 31 days before your wedding, and payments can be made by e-transfer, credit card, or PayPal.
-
Absolutely. Every wedding is unique, so collections can often be tailored to fit your plans. Whether you'd like additional coverage, a second photographer, livestreaming, or extra albums, we'll build something that works well for you and your day.
These photographs will outlive the flowers, the cake, and even the dress.
Years from now, they'll help you remember exactly how this chapter of your story began.
If you're looking for someone who will help you stay present, care about the little details, and create photographs that feel as genuine as the day itself, I'd be honoured to tell your story.
